Each agent has specialized in one or two commercial disciplines. This means that they know all aspects of that discipline including: knowledge of each past sale / lease, price / terms, familiarity with the property, understanding the supply and demand for the product and knowing all aspects of that market.  This is essential regardless if the need is for leasing (landlord or tenant) or buying or selling a property.  Our agents are often called by appraisers to verify that the appraised value being reported for a property is accurate.  Honestly, this is common.

Market Knowledge – Newsletters

An example of our market knowledge the Greater Phoenix Apartment Owner’s Newsletter, that we have published every quarter since 1999.  Past issues are posted on our web site.  The newsletter reports the apartments sales for each quarter, with an in-depth review of all the sales, vacancies, absorption, permitting activity and an overall perspective of current and projected trends.

Most of our agents have been working full time as commercial practitioners for more than 10 years and a few more than 20 years.  All have also been successful in prior occupations – skills learned being of appreciable value to understanding all aspects of commercial real estate.  Over the years, each of our agents have earned huge respect within the local brokerage community and among the owners, landlords and tenants within our market.

Education

Most of our agents are not only specialist with their particular discipline, but have also earned the CCIM designation.  A CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) is a recognized expert in the commercial and investment real estate industry. The CCIM designation is earned after successfully completing a designation process that ensures CCIM’s are proficient not only in theory, but also in practice. Over 15,000 commercial real estate professionals have earned the designation. Currently, 5,500 professionals are pursuing their CCIM designation.
